Description
The WackO Products CA200 is an air conditioner silencer kit that allows you to run your A/C unit without all the noise. Never try listening to your TV over your air conditioner or being kept awake by the unbearable noise ever again.
• Designed to fit a Coleman air conditioner with a ducted system. (If you use a Dometic A/C model, see part #DA100)
• Installs easily in under 15 minutes with a screwdriver, no drilling required.
• Recycled cotton duct liner gives superior acoustic and thermal performance.
• Noise reduction ranges from 3-6 decibels (dB).
• Electrostatic air filter helps eliminate dust, lint, pollen, and other pollutants in the air.
• The air filter is a 4 layer weave design, is nonporous, mildew resistant, and does not degrade over time.
• The filter can easily be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, or optionally removed and washed.
• Clean the outer casing with a damp cloth or gentle cleanser.

Q & A
The Silencer Kits will make the AC unit a air intake only and sending all the conditioned air through the ductwork in the ceiling. Please watch the installation viedo on the Coleman CA200 install for a full explanation of the benefits of the kits.
The CA200 Silencer kit will only work on a ducted unit with a wall thermostat. But please send us a picture of what you have to [email protected] as we are currently working on a non ducted version
The Silencer kit come complete with Screws, Filter and 8' of foil tape

Nice quality unit, easy to install, and works as advertised. Price was a serious consideration preventing me from ordering sooner and although I’d like to install the silencer on my other AC unit the price makes it hard to justify. I would suggest replacing the exterior mounting screws be colored to match the white exterior. Seems like an inexpensive add… Thank You

Really cuts down on the nose and it looks good too! The only reason it’s not a 5 for me is that It was a little small for the footprint of the cover we replaced as far as aesthetics go. This my not be the case for you; we have a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder. We had our installer put up small vinyl border around the unit that matched our ceiling and it looks great. We love that we don’t have to turn the tv up so loud when the ac kicks on and the ac doesn’t wake me up now in the middle of the night! Wish we had done it sooner.

Hello John, Thank you for the review. We do have 2 optional trim pieces available to cover any holes or marks in the ceiling that the Silencer kit doesn’t cover up with the 17×17″ foot print. The CT205 trim is 19×20″ and CT204 is 20×20″ foot print. The trims are optional as not everyone needs them.

Installation was quick and easy, only problem is that the white shroud is thicker than the original and my decorative medallion on the slide wood trim hits and pushes up against the ceiling (☹️). Got to trim 1/4-1/2” off cover and mill out the mounting holes on cover unless a thinner cover is made.

Please do not trim the cover. The cover space is needed for air flow. You could pickup some thumb screws #8-32 x 1/2″ long and use to hold the cover on. This way it is you can remove the cover before bring in the slide.

Works as advertised with an 8db reduction in the noise level. However, after receiving and looking at the product, it does seem somewhat overpriced. Most RV folks would be put off by the cost. I also have not used the AC units on a hot day yet to see if airflow is, as a minimum, the same as previous.
