Description
The WackO Products FA500 is an air conditioner silencer kit that allows you to run your RV A/C unit without all the noise. Never try listening to your TV over your air conditioner or being kept awake by the unbearable noise ever again.
• Designed to fit Furrion brand air conditioners with a ducted system. (If you use a Coleman A/C model, see part #CA200. Have a Dometic or GE A/C? See part #DA100)
• Installs easily in under 15 minutes with a screwdriver, no drilling required.
• Recycled cotton duct liner gives superior acoustic and thermal performance.
• Noise reduction ranges from 3-5 decibels (dB).
• Electrostatic air filter helps eliminate dust, lint, pollen, and other pollutants in the air.
• The air filter is a 4 layer weave design, is nonporous, mildew resistant, and does not degrade over time.
• The filter can easily be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, or optionally removed and washed.
• Clean the outer casing with a damp cloth or gentle cleanser.

Hello Amanda, Currently all Furrion Silencer kits a for ducted units only. If you are not sure what you have please email a picture of your A/C to [email protected] with the year, make and model of your RV. Thank you
The kit allows the air to travel through the cover.

We did not have the correct A/C for this product, but it made a great difference in the sound, We sure wish it would of worked for us, hoping they will come up with something that would work for our RV A/C. they did take back the product, with a ReStocking Fee, which was to be expected, they were very helpful through the whole process!

Easy install, greatly reduced noise. Overhangs too much for slide out to clear in upon retracting. Only option is to scrap the plan or remove cover every time we close down camper for travel. Slide out clears mounting plate so while we’re not pleased, we’ll stick with removing the cover. We like it that much. Wont be long before I forget to remove it and rip it off the ceiling I’m sure.

Added it my RV rear bedroom AC and can’t say it made a large difference in air circulation from the ducts discharge vents or reduced fan noise as claimed. Could have gotten almost the same effect by taping over AC cold air discharge. Will say easily to install but in my mind, definitely not worth the $220.

This is definitely quieter than our Furrion A/C. The air circulation is vastly improved. The air moves better through the ceiling ducts. The air coming out the A/C body is pushed harder to circulate in to and through the room. The Furrion A/C was so noisy before it was hard to carry a conversation. Not no more.
